My brow natural brow hair is light in colour, with SPMU help?
If your brow hair is extremely light, there is an option to tint your brows prior to your appointment and we can then match the pigment to this colour. This will require you to tint them regularly.
Will I need to use make up after SPMU?
Semi permanent make up is not a replacement for make-up. Make-up sits on top of the skin, and SPMU sits in the skin. The healed result will be soft, and natural and will imitate natural hair. These type of treatments will never heal like make-up. See our healed results on instagram.
I have oily skin, but want nanoblading. Is this possible?
Oily skin pushes out pigment faster than normal/dry skin. If you opt for nanoblading with oily skin, the results may fade quicker. The crisp delicate hair strokes may also blur and then fade. People with oily skin skill get nanoblading, however it won't last as long (approx 10-12 month).
I have old tattoo brows, they are slightly cool and blue. Can I still get brow SPMU?
It is really difficult to neutralise and cover blue/tattoo brows. Think of it like using a water colour on top of a permanent marker. Normally the best option is to get them removed, then re-start your brow journey.
How old do I have to be to get SPMU?
The minimum age for SPMU is 18 or over due to strict laws and regulations. You will be required to provide ID if necessary.
How often do I get SPMU refreshed?
You can opt to come back for yearly top ups of SPMU. However, there must be significant fading to re-implant pigment. Returning for a refresh too regularly can cause over saturation and harsh results. If you're unsure about the amount of fading you have, please send a photo before booking.
How do I pick a shape for my new brow?
Here at PIGMENT SPMU we aim to enhance your natural brow. If you have a style in mind please bring photos, however bear in mind everyone has different facial features and face shapes, so the ideal brow may not suit you. We use a range of measurements and facial mapping to design your new individualised eyebrow. However, you ultimately have the final say!
Are lip blush results similar to a lipstick effect?
SPMU lip blush sits within the skin, not on top. It gives a subtle flush of colour throughout the lip, in comparison to a lipstick which completely coats the lip. It does not give a lipstick effect.
